Speaking at the swearing in ceremony in Kampala, the youth and children minister, Nakiwala Kiyingi asked the new committee to live an extemporary life to the rest of the people they are leading as this will help inspire and transform the youth in the country to better citizens.
She further challenges the youths to always be focused and work towards attaining their targets when they are still energetic to avoid living a life of regret during their old age.
And the chairman of the national youth council of Uganda Jacob Eyeru challenges youth to drop their political, religious and cultural difference and aspire to work towards developing themselves.
Eyeru adds that as a new leadership, they will be focusing on uniting the youth to see to it that they achieve their intended goals.
The newly sworn in leadership will stir the youth for the next five years.
