Former minister state for ethics and integrity Fr. Simon Lokodo has warned public servants and politicians to surrender their wealth for Evaluation before its late. LOKODO revealed this during a stake holder’s meeting
at hotel Africana on the deliberations of rules of the procedure of the Leadership Code Tribunal saying that they only have between now and 7th of August to declare their Assets noting that once they fail to comply the leadership code of Act 2002 will be applied against them since its the mandate.
Mean while Dr. Roselyn Karugonjo Segawa the chairperson of the leadership code tribunal an independent judicial institution setup to fight corruption with in the public sector says the tribunal consists of 5 people and is now ready to execute it’s mandate effectively to ensure that all leaders and all public officers are accountable to Ugandans as to promote good governance for all.
