His majesty the kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi (11) has held a special meeting with the Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta at state house in Nairobi- Kenya.
In the special meeting, the kabaka emphasized the great role Buganda kingdom has and continues to play in the integration of the east African region.
Kabaka’s visit to Kenyatta sparked social media allegations that the Kabaka flew to Nairobi in critical condition for treatment.
This forced the Kingdom’s premier, Owekitibwa, Charles Peter Mayega to address athe kabaka’s subjects on the hotly contested matter and advised all the subjects to be calm assuring them that the king was safe, health and sound.
Just yesterday, while addressing the party membership, the NRM national chairman Yoweri Kaguta Museveni came out tough to those using social media to desist from spreading wrong information against people in the country and he refered to the negative posts loads against the king.
Today media space was filled with photos of the Kabaka and the Kenyan president happily enjoying their meeting in Nairobui.
This has now clered all the rumors and settled the hearts of all Baganda in and out side Uganda.
The Baganda are the largest ethnic group in Uganda with much dominance in the country against other tribes like Banyankole, Bakiga, Banyoro, Basoga, Bagisu, Acholi, Langi, Madi, Karimajong among others
