The electoral commission of Uganda has nominated a total of 11 presidential candidates among them is Hon. Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi (NUP) Patrick Amuriat Oboi (FDC) Hon. Nobert Mao (DP) Joseph Kabuleta (Independent) and others who nominated today.
Hon. Kyagulanyi being the first to nominate at 11am today was arrested by police and other security machinery and driven to his home in Magere preventing him from unveiling his manifesto at the party offices in Kamwokya today as earlier planned.
Speaking before the media after nomination at the nomination grounds, Kyagulanyi promises to have a leadership where every Uganda is equal, make drastic improvement in the health, agriculture, education and security sectors of the country.
Kyagulanyi said this then will make Uganda a much better country for Ugandans.
The FDC presidential candidate, Hon. Patrick Amuriat Oboi reached the nomination grounds bear footed and went through the nomination process bear footed making history in Uganda as becoming the first presidential aspirant and later candidate to nominate in foot.
Oboi then said that he is in the race to cause change in Uganda’s leadership to break the growing dictatorship in Uganda which is sugar coated.
He then wants Ugandans to open up and see the danger which lies ahead and make it change.
Nobert Mao (DP) Joseph Kabuleta among others also nominated which brought joy and jubilation to the eyes and lips of their supporters.
All candidates today urged Ugandans to use this chance to change the leadership of the mighty nation to make it a better place for everyone..
