The director of public prosecution Jane Francis Abodo has ordered for the temporary closure of the registry and doccumentation departments following registering the first covid19 positive case in her office.
In a statement seen and signed by the DPP confirms the case at the headquarters in Kampala.
It further reads that the two departments will be closed for a couple of weeks as they closely monitor and observe the standard procedures set by the life ministry in a bid to crack down the disease.
Police which is their daily client in filing complaints has also been advisedly to file cases or complaints online as well as the other members of the public.
Uganda and Kampala for this case continues to register huge numbers of new covid19 positive cases which has created fear among top leaders in the country.
The police, prisons, DPP, UNRA among other government agencies and departments have already registered covid19 positive cases and serious measures have been taken to crackdown on the likelihood that it might spread over to all the staff.
