Speaking to media in one of the meetings he expressed concerns regarding the pace at which Roads are being constructed in the city citing Roads that have taken years without being completed yet they were given all the resources to do the work.
Roads that have have been cited include Arcacia avenue road, Bunamwaya, Naganda lukuli, Ntinda road and the two Drainages Lubijji and Nakamiro .
Lukwago explained that kampala is under scarcity of Roads with full of potholes which has affected the development of the city stressing the need for these contractors to value the Tax payer’s money and huge sums of money in form of loan that was given to Uganda by World Bank.
He added that, he would wish to see Uganda local contractors being given opportunity to develop Roads but their capacities are still lacking.
