A total of 132 newly elected members of parliament have been sworn in ahead of the 11th Parliament .
Most of the roads that connect to Ugandan parliament including Nile avenue, Parliamentary avenue are some of the roads that have been blocked by traffic police in a bid to control the traffic jam.
The swearing exercise has kick started today until Thursday this week with a total of 555 members of parliament who are to be sworn in.
Some of the legislators after the swearing including NAKAWA East Mp elect Eng. Ronald Nsubuga Balimwezo ,worker’s MP Charles Bakabulindi and Buikwe MP Dr.Bayega Lulume ,have all recommitted themselves to work for their constituencies as the new term begins.
However, most MPs from West Nile, karamoja, Northern region have revealed most of the challenges they encounter in their constituencies among which are poor healthy facilities, poor education system, land wrangles among others.
